Hi!

Is there a way to show a number in front of every row retrieved through a select statement...?

select column1, column2 from tablename

The output should look like:

1 column1_value column2_value

Any idea how I can achieve that?

This is 8.1.6 on Win2k.

Thanks,
Helmut
