(Feb 29, 9:57am) I agree with what Deborah stated, McNeeley and Jobs were excellent. Viewing the roll out of the Network Computer by Larry Ellison was also interesting. The procedures for the hands-on sessions were ridiculous, on the verge of stupidity (I especially enjoyed the registration process, 6 or 7 booths for registration of the conference, then only 2 or 3 booths for hands-on session registration! Talk about long, slow lines! Poor planning!!). My hands-on, dealing with Database Tuning, did not have any "hands-on" either, it also lacked tuning scripts which I could take with me and apply immediately. As for the Technical sessions, some where good, others were a waste of time. I especially valued the data replication session and data warehousing sessions.
