Has anyone had difficulty in importing V6 data into V7, using Personal 7?

I am consistently getting a stack overflow error.

The system has 16 Meg of RAM, and although the book says 8 Meg is
minimum and 16 Meg preferred, I can't help wondering if 16 Meg is just
not
enough for this utility.
