Hi to all,

I have doubts in SYNONYM.

What is actual use of synonym?
difference between public synonym and synonym?

is synonym Need to grant permission to access other users?

if no then how to give access permission to synonym


please clarify my doubts

One is private and the other one is public.
One can be seen only by the owner the other one can be seen by everyone.

You never give privilege on synonym, you give privilege on the referenced object.
