Hi,
I'm working on database oracle 10g and form developer 6i.
I have LOV returns the first name and the last name of the employees.If I press f9 and write the first letter (S for example)it brings the employees whoes first name begin with S, what i want is that after writting the first letter i want to put space and write another letter (W) in this case it should brings the employees whose first name begin with S and last name begin with S.

Use wildcard characters.

Something like this example: the default search condition is '%' (give me everything). Entering '15%30', I'd get corresponding values (as on the second image).

Single character wildcard is underscore (_), while multiple characters wildcard is percent sign (%).

If you try it on characters it will bring every last name which (for example)has letter S.

Then put a 'space' before the '%' so that it aligns to the space separating the first and last names.

Pardon. Please post snapshot of a search like "Dav% Mar%" from a list containing a list of First and Last names separated by a 'space' to show that it doesn't work.

Are you sure you have the 'case' of your search correct?
