Is this NOT happening in 'enter query' mode or 'data entry' mode? If the first then make sure that the 'Fire in Enter Query' mode is active.

Have you placed 'message; pause;' pairs in your code to verify that the code you think is running is really running?

If your code affects the 'visuals' versus the 'database', do you need to do a 'synchronize'?

Searching OTN for 'when-mouse-enter not working' returned "Oracle9i Forms, Migrating Client/Server To the Web, An Oracle White Paper, April 2002" at http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/forms/pdf/forms9icstowebmigration.pdf

I googled 'when-mouse-enter java' and found http://www.araboug.org/ib/lofiversion/index.php/t27010.html

I hope this helps you.

Dear

I have generated a bean based on your code. it works.

u may test it. It contains .fmb and a .jar file.

place jar file in oracle_home\forms\java\ folder and make an entry in archive_jini ........ in formsweb.cfg.

It will work InshahAllah.

take care.
