Hi

This is Abood, I am B.Tech Fresher completed my degree in 2006 may with 71.09% , but i did not get any placement so i decided to learn any course which could help me to build my career.
Sir I would like to ask that for me as a fresher how OCP and OCA would be and what if i have knowledge about fundamentals I but not certified , will i get any oppurtinities and if i do only OCA , is it helpful or any other course. Basically after completing this course i am planning to go to Saudi Arabia, how about this plan
please guide me to correct path (suitable for my career from now).

hi ,

Before go for OCA or OCP. Learn Basic Knowledge About Oracle Database.

How can you get basic about Oracle DB.
Go through Documentation.

1.http://download-east.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14220/intro.htm
2.Visit regular Oracle Forms.
3.Visit Oracle.com website.
4.Read article about Oracle Database.
5. Visit Mr. Tom kyte site. http://asktom.oracle.com

Those are good sites for startup.

Then after you should go for Certification. it is doesn't matter which one. you can first go for OCA then after OCP.
Your B.Tech Person. so you can join and make your career in any field in IT.

Thank you Taj Brother,

For guiding me to that links , Brother I have some knowledge about Database ( i can say i have good basic knowledge and i have also done sql and pl/sql) .

Brother u did not replied to my second part of my thread that is about job oppurtinities for freshers after doing OCA in Saudi Arabia. If somebody else can help in this regard? i will be very thankful for that.

Please help me.... as i am a fresher
