"How can I drive a car without using a steer and pedals?" is about the same question. It just doesn't make sense, and the things are MADE for just doing that.

I would be willing to place a bet that the user doesn't know the syntax for the create statement and doesn't want to learn it. I think that is a short sided idea. There will always be times that the GUI doesn't work and you have to issue commands directly in good old sql*plus. And frankly, it is MUCH quicker to type in most commands then to have to click through a GUI interface.
