Hi
I am unable to run long requests in Oracle General Ledger(ie reports like
Accounts Analysis, General Ledger ,Trial Balance etc) The status says
"Running Normal" but after a couple of hours the status changes to
"Completed Error" and on openiong the request log i get the message
" Cannot open file e:\oracle\visicomn\temp\OF4.tmp for reading".
I urgently need to process some reports before May end and I have been
struggling with this problem for more than 2 months.Please help!!!!!

1. Check the permisssions/space in $COMMON_TOP/temp folder
2. Check that utl_file_dir in DB and $APPLPTMP dir's are same.

You need to make sure you report is in the specified directory "" Cannot open file e:\oracle\visicomn\temp\OF4.tmp for reading". "

check the directory and make sure your report is there.
