Hi Friends,
Any one help me understand how routing and scheduling in Oracle Applications are done.
For Ex. A order is created , how it is planned to get the schedule date and which depot to go for the same.

Hi,
As I remember, you can schedule the order by going to
(M)Tools>Scheduling.
Various scheduling options are availabe like Schedule/Unschedule/Reserve/Unreserve.
You have also to check that in profile option: Auto Schedule is set at "No".
To prevent reserving inventory while scheduling set the system profile option OM: Reservation Time fence to Null or enter a schedule date outside the Reservation time fence.
