hello all,
I need to copy a user with all responsibilities to another user with the same. is the best way to achieve this through sql or can it be done from within oracle financials.
if via sql does someone have a script to perform the action.

Hi,
David K. Dickson provided the following solution on oracle-apps-l:
1. Query the APPS user (to be copied) via the form,
2. Position the cursor on the first responsibility and do File, Export which will export the list of responsibilities to Excel,
3. Download the FREE software called DataLoad from www.dataload.org
4. From the same site, download the pre-built spreadsheets for Users and Responsibilities,
5. Customise these for your own use (it should be possible to combine the two sheets into one).
