i have a LOV name pw which has values.
record group Name: PW
static values 
0.25
0.50
0.75
1.00
1.25
1.50
1.75
2.00
when i input value in field then validated the inserted value with the values stored in record group. please advised

LoV is attached to some item, right? Go to that item's Property Palette, navigate to "List of Values" group of properties and switch the Validate from List property to "Yes".

i did as you say. if i enter wrong value which is not in record group query. it open the LOV. i want only it compare the input value with the record group query values . if exist it then next_item perform. otherwise stand in that column.
please advised

Exactly, that's expected behavior. If value you enter doesn't exist in LoV, Forms opens it so that you could pick one of valid values.

Yes; until you pick a valid value, you can't move out of that item.


So, from my point of view, everything works as it should.
