Hallo,

How can we check Validation of text_item with the LOV?
I have one text_item1, where i have to display ID and the next field with Address, and i have LOV in the item_text1, when i press F9 at runtime, it will select and display the respected value in both fields, but i would like to check Validation in item_text1, when user give the wrong ID, which is not in the LOV then should Display error.

Can anyone please help me?

thanking u

I have two blocks, and when i press F7 key in current block, (where already other records are displayed), it will insert new blank row below that. And that i want to avoid it.

is it possible to write some Trigger or do something, when i press F7 key, it should not allow to insert row, i use this block just to Show records, not to insert any..

help please Smile

thankx

Modify that block's "Insert allowed" property and set it to "No".
