In AWR Reports I could see in the 3rd line as follow

----
Host Name Platform CPUs Cores Sockets Memory (GB)
Devsv1 Solaris[tm] OE (64-bit) 11 3 1 32.00
----

What does this 'Sockets' means? Where we can find the setting for this 'Sockets' in DB?
What happen if we increase the number of 'Sockets'?

It's not a database setting, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CPU_socket is the kind of thing it is.
