Running multiple reports simultaneous [message #623054]

Dear All,

I developed many reports by Report Builder v. 6.0.8.11.3 I wonder if there is any way to run more then 1 report at the same time ? When a report is active on the screen, the second report is blocked till the 1st one is closed even it is run. But what I want to do is to run them simultaneously.

If you can share with me your experiences, I would be grateful.

Did you try to schedule those reports by your operating system's scheduler so they start at the same time (you'd use RWRUN executable, of course)?

Sorry, but your question makes no sense (at the moment; unless you explain what you mean). RWRUN is an operating system executable file (I believe its full name is RWRUN60.EXE). What "trigger code" do you have in mind?

as you see attached image
i open 4 reports at the same time but only 1st report in preview and other 3 in waiting.
why other 3 in waiting i want to preview all reports at the same time.

I can't view images stored on sharing services (because of company policy), but I can imagine what you are saying. I don't know why Oracle developers designed it that way, sorry. You'll have to wait for someone else's answer.

"That way" is the way it is now.

"Another way" is scheduling those reports (as I've already said).

I don't know another "another way".
