Migrating MS SQL into Oracle database [message #601696]

Hi,

We are in process of migrating MS SQL database with Oracle database server.How to verify DB requirements are compatible with existing Oracle servers ?

MS SQL database is a reporting database where all reports will be generated.All Oracle DB servers are running with OLAP option.

Can we create a seperate database environment for reporting database or merge with same existing oracle server .Also can you suggest which option (OLTP or OLAP)
is suitable for reporting database ?

Sorry for the delay in reponds.I was out of station and did not have access to emails.Once i am back to office i will post the SQL results.
