Hi ,all:
when i restore the tablespace ,why should i offline the tablespace first?if i restore the tablespace without offlining,what will happen?

Restore what from what & why is restore needed to be done?

This is juts a prerequisite Oracle asks, no need to think about it:

Restrictions and Usage Notes section:
