Hi,
I am new to Oracle and this forum. Can anyone tell the procedure of how to take backup and recovery using Rman method. Thanks in advance.

From OS, connect to rman and backup the database as follows:

rman target /
RMAN>backup database plus archivelog all;


That's all. And try to read some docs according RMAN from http://tahiti.oracle.com

Please read OraFAQ Forum Guide, it is stated you have to post your version WITH 4 DECIMALS.
