Hi,

I am unable to startup the database?

SQL*Plus: Release 11.1.0.7.0 - Production on Sun May 15 11:43:26 1994

Copyright (c) 1982, 2008, Oracle. All rights reserved.

Connected to an idle instance.

SQL> startup
ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel


please help me in this regard. Thanks in Advance...

Hi,

I got solution for this.

Actually after creating the database, we have changed the system date. With this change when we are restarting the database, Stuck up with the above error. Now we changed the date to original system date and now is working fine.

While startup the database, control file is reading system date
( which is less than the date on which control file is created).
This caused the above error.
