Dear all,
I have 3 nodes nodes RAC and all nodes running with version 10.2.0.1.0 clusterware and database. Now the time has come to upgrade with 10.2.0.4.0 at all nodes. Please guide me if any one has done such type of upgradation. I dont't want my user should be effected at the time of upgrade, So please suggest which Patch set should i have to download from metalink and what shuld be the steps for the same.

You should download the 10.2.0.4 patch for your platform and read the readme.html that comes with the patch. It will describe the full process. Your users will be affected when you apply the patch to the database.

As i found in some googling and searching some document it says that When We will be doing Rolling upgrade for Oracle Clusterware and oracle database i.e we will only bring one node down for patching while other node will be available and accepting database connections. It that true ?

For CRS, rolling upgrade is possible, however upgrading the ORACLE_HOME for the database and running the catupgrade.sql script will require downtime for the database.
