Hi

I want to display barcode in reports....I downloaded IDAutomation Code 128 (demo)...i copied those fonts in windows/fonts......in my report ....i selected those fonts for the barcode field....but when i print that report, i am not able to scan the barcode because may be its the demo font(it has a small demo written between the lines)...

Is there any other way of doing that ? Can i get the sources code for PLL to do that without using the IDAutomation Fonts ..?

Learn how to use Search. Your problem has already been discussed.

I believe that the problem is in the fact that you didn't enclose barcode in asterisks (*). For more information, please, search the board (I'm too lazy to repeat myself). If I remember well, there was also an example, screenshot, etc.

But can u tell me some site from where i can download IDAutomation code128 ...because i am only getting the trial versions .... do we need to pay for the font ?

Hi

I downloaded IDAutomation Font 39 ... i changed the font of barcode in report to IDAUTOMATIONHC39M(WESTERN)....i included the barcode in asterik....the barcode is displayed but when i scan the printed barcode(from report) ...it just reads BARCODE instead of the actual code......(I mean it shows 'BARCODE')

If you want to generate barcodes in Crystal & RDLC reports, I recomomd you use some other generator software which do no need any barcode fonts or programming skills, like <www.barcodelib.com/net_crystal_reports/main.html>
