After installing Oracle 10g (10.2.0.3) on Windows Vista , I am unable to connect to isqlplus on my local machine using url

http://host_name:5660/isqlplus

When I try to connect to OEM (port 1258) it works fine

I have also started isqlplusctl utility and it shows that isqlplus is working fine.

What could be the problem?

Try to disable the Vista firewall. If that works, then you'll have to add an exception for that port.

Did you verify the port in the %ORACLE_HOME%/install/portlist.ini file? I thought port 5560 was typical.

In addition, you may want to see if helpful logs get generated in %ORACLE_HOME%\oc4j\j2ee\isqlplus\log.

It was just a silly mistake(typo) on my end. Instead of 5560 I tried to use port 5660. Embarassed

Thank you for your help anyway.
