Hampton VA - ISA, Inc. is accepting applications for a database modeler or analyst with Oracle administration skills.
The candidate will join a successful and growing team developing a Java and Oracle application supporting the military modeling and simulation community.
The responsibilities include data modeling (both logical and physical), analysis of existing databases with which the application may interact (analysis of the database structure and data contained within), and assistance with administering multiple Oracle database instances.
Preferred skills include data modeling (experience with ERwin a plus), writing SQL and PL/SQL, and some Oracle administration experience (DBA certification not required).
This is a position for database support of an application development team, not for the strict Oracle DBA work associated with administering a fielded system.
Candidate must have held a US DoD SECRET clearance within previous 24 months.
Preference is given for a current US DoD SECRET clearance.
