Hi,

I did this task, and I never come across any problems. Also, the Oracle documentation, do says it support it.

Regards

You have to run catexp7.sql on your Oracle8 DB to be able to import data exported from Oracle7 DB.

The script is in $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin on UNIX
and %ORACLE_HOME%\RDBMS80\ADMIN on NT.

Run the script as internal thro server manager like any other cat scripts.

Hope that works.
