ive received an export file that was created with 9.2.0.8-64Bit export. this was done from a unix server.
i'm trying to importing using 10.2.0.1 import and get the error message:
IMP-00010: not a valid export file, header failed verification.
Ive looked this up, and it seems that the general consensus is that the file was ftp'd from the unix server to a windows machine in ascii mode rather than binary. i've been told by the dba that this is not the case...
she also zipped the file, then added pgp encryption and finally put it to disk.
I would have thought that the 10.2 import would import the previous version export w/ out incident. anyone have any ideas?
