Hi All,


I have an issue, I am frequently getting error Not Logged on!,
I beleive connection is getting timed out,
can anybody please suggest how can we know Switch Time for any ID?
that is for how long connection will sustain before it will
be aborted.?

This is not an Oracle error.
Each user can be associated to a profile which can define a maximum idle time but the error code you can get is:
ORA-02396: "exceeded maximum idle time, please connect again"

Of course, if you ignore this error and retry to execute something you get:
ORA-01012: "not logged on"
