So....all the copy buttons in Oracle (using copy_region built in function) create an "Oracle lockup" problem when they get used too many times in one session (not sure of the number).

Message: FRM-92100: Your connection to the Server was interrupted. This may be the result of a network error, or a failure on the Server. You will need to reestablish your session.

When the users use cntrl-c/cntrl-v, this problem doesn't happen.

Have ya'll heard of copy_region causing issues?

AS

I'll try to see if we can replicate it in Forms Developer.

Cannot replicate this in Forms Developer. Only happens when the Form is used from the Application Server environment.

Now perhaps you would be so kind as to tell us what type of machine you are using for your AS, its operating system and the version of Oracle Application Server you are using.

Thanks for your help on this, BTW. I know I'm slow at bringing answers back to the table.

The normal response at this point is 'check the certification matrix'. Search OTN for 'matrix application server' and you will find http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/ias/files/as_certification_r2_101202.html
