Hi,
I need clarification regarding capturing the Counter Readings for Usage Based Contracts. Which is it better to capture Counter Readings..in Service Contracts module or in Install Base ?.
I am new to Usage Based Contracts and need to understand this.
Gurus, Appreciate your quick responses.
Thanks,
Sid

definitely in the service contract module. Open up any contract and select Lines...go to the Counters tab. Then in the timestamp window right click on the window and either select Counter Setup or Counter Capture. Counter capture contains the MIP entries contianed within the contract. Counter capture captures the initail reading.
