Anybody got experience with integrating jfreecharts and oracle forms. The internet has lots of resumes of people who say they did. But I sure could use a pdf or word doc that has some instructions on it. Failing that, maybe some quick write-up about the basics. Also, maybe someone can point me the the url that I can't find.

Thanks, Kevin

Problem not solved yet. We had to put the idea on the shelf for a while till we figure out what we want to do with graphs.

We did try the Oracle Bean for charting and this was OK, so if all else fails we could do that I supposed.

But we still want to work with jfreecharts if possible. Do you have any knowledge in this area?

Thanks, Kevin

Googling 'jfreecharts' gave me numerous sites including, of course, http://www.jfree.org/jfreechart/ from which you can buy a Developer Guide. There was also links to Javaworld http://www.jfree.org/jfreechart/ and Sun http://forums.sun.com/thread.jspa?messageID=9806671

I can only suggest working through a Java example from the Forms sample code web site and then rewriting it using 'jfreecharts'.

The easiest answer is to do what most other people do. Use the tools that are provided.
