Today when i run this (select sysdate,current_timestamp from dual;) script

Output is
------------
sysdate current_timestamp
6/25/2008 10:04:00 AM 28-JUN-08 11.57.12.843000 AM +05:30

Then to correct my sysdate used following script

ALTER SYSTEM SET FIXED_DATE= '2008-06-28-11:57:12';

select sysdate,current_timestamp from dual;
Output is
------------
sysdate current_timestamp
6/28/2008 11:57:12 AM 28-JUN-08 12.22.58.515000 PM +05:30

Sysdate is not updating;
How can I solve this
Please help me .Thanks in Advance

Change the date/time settings on the Server that contains the database.

The date time settings are already correct Sir .Eventhough the above mentioned problem is there

Set the fixed_date to none and don't change parameters unless you know what they do and how they behave (i.e. look them up in the documentation before you change them).
SYSDATE returns the date as it is on the operating system upon which the database resides as per the documentation:

The only thing I can guess is that you are connecting to a db on a server other than the one that you think that you are.

Yes Sir I am connecting to a db on server .Where server date is correct
