Hi Friends,
I am basically a PL/SQL developer but now I am going to work with Forms 10g in a few days. Long back I have worked with Forms 9i but I have never worked with Oracle 10g forms and so here to take your help in addition to the google work I do.
Can any one of you let me know the basic architecture difference in any between Oracle 9i Forms and Oracle 10g Forms.
Can any one of you tell me in detail the basic difference that we can observe when working with Oracle Forms 9i and Oracle Forms 10g.
Any material where I can learn and have some basic knowledge of Oracle forms 10g.
It will be helpful if you can explain me in detail else if you can send me the links where I can find some details of the above said topics. Hope you would do the needful.
Thanks,
Vamsi K Gummadi.

Hi David,
Thanks for the help. I shall go to the link provided by you and do some research and get back to you. As of now I see that there is now I see no difference in the Architecture of Oracle Forms 10g and Oracle forms 9i. Can you explain in detail what you meant to say by Quote: | "webutil is builtin and the whole product, in terms of web stuff and Java, works better. That is, getting 9i to run in 2003/2004 was a bitch but running 10g in 2008 is okay"
| with any inllustration if possible. Hope you can help me in this aspect. I shall thank you once again for you help.
Thanks & Regards,
Vamsi K Gummadi.
