Mike Carey is the Donald Bren Professor of Computer and Information Sciences at the University of California, Irvine. He's an ACM Fellow, a member of the National Academy of Engineering, and a past recipient of the ACM SIGMOD Edgar F. Codd Innovations Award and the ACM SIGMOD Contributions Award.
