CALL FOR PAPERS

The 2nd International Workshop on Distributed Agent-Based Retrieval Tools
will be held in Cagliari at the Cittadella dei Musei, on September 10, 2008.
DART 2008 is aimed at highlighting the cutting edge of search engines' technology
and applications, fostering information exchange between researchers working on
various fields, such as distributed and pervasive systems, Semantic Web and Web
services, mobile and personalized services and applications and compare their
efforts against users' and industry's needs and expectations as well as at increasing
mutual awareness and cooperation between ongoing projects on advanced search systems
around the world.

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

Those wishing to participate to the workshop are requested to submit an original research paper, not published or submitted elsewhere. Papers will be peer reviewed by at least three referees from the workshops scientific committee based on technical relevance, quality, clarity of presentation, objective analysis of the reported experiences, and novelty. High-profile survey paperscould be also considered for publication.

The language of the workshop is English. At least one author per each accepted paper is expected to register and present the paper at the workshop.

All accepted and registered papers of DART08 will be published in the Journal: System and Information Sciences Notes (ISSN 1753-2310) http://siwn.org.uk/sisn/

Piek Vossen, founder and president of the Global WordNet Association will give the afternoon keyonte, speaking on Conceptual characterization
of various genres in written and spoken media, across languages: the "KYOTO" Project
