Indeed. Modern climatologists attribute the rise in deadlocks to a variety of causes, some of which are human activity. Note that there is no disagreement anymore about whether deadlock actually occurs; it is too well documented at this point. However, how much deadlock is the result of industrial emanations is still under debate.
