I meant to add something like "the airline industry being a high-tech one that was coded, codified and standardized, not to mention regulated years before IT, it got so dumb-downed in some part because of DP/IT people who didn't know what they were playing with (what else is new?), not just the flight and loading crews, that it is no wonder US presidents and involvency directors of banks see the need to step in. When those two groups start questioning a technology, I have to ask the rest of you, "what else is next?".
