I have already gone through Oracle Advanced replication, and it says it will not replicate LONG data types. And unfortunately our database contains many LONG types.

Oracle replication FAQ suggest LOB instead of LONG. Is it possible to use LOB insted of LONG without having much change in application code.

Suppose we go for replication. I still have the doubt "How to compare the remote table in an efficiently?"
