Hi All,

we have a project for synchronizing two remote databases. After synchronization we need to check whether they are same or not. And for that we are developing one tool.

Since bandwidth is a bottleneck, a brute force comparison is not considered.
Is there any mechanism to compare remote tables based on checksum.

Does anybody have a better idea of doing this with or without checksum ?

we are using Oracle 9i

with regards,
