Schema evolution was a term I had not before researched, and I thanked Jan for providing it, seeing it was what I was trying to say (without the terminology).

Date employs 57 books "with much rhetoric" [quoting M.Gittens, in his article questioning the Third Manfesto] without dealing with the reality of change management, which is just as important (if not more so) than implementation, seeing that implementation is over in a day, while change management occurs throughout the entire life of an organisation.
