There may be scope for non-builder sprocs ... quite likely they will not have write access to tables. That right most likely will be reserved for the builder.

In reality this is still with the jury...but in the event that the PHP doesn't suite all user interaction requirements, I expect to use Java for at least those portions...the only problem with dual interface technologies is the aesthetic look and feel and perhaps cross training for users who use both.

Anyway at the moment the R+D focus is on getting the core right.
