But they are voting for it. Portability is one of the promises of Open Source. And just look at how scared of Open Source software the big guys are becoming. Microsoft's dirty tricks to keep LINUX out of government computing here and overseas, etc. are a testimonal. A few weeks ago, CMU published the bug rates for Windows versus LINUX -- about three orders of magnitude in favor of LINUX. Received on Tue Jan 18 2005 - 20:13:35 CST
