If you aren't sure they work, maybe you should try :-)

They sound great, but the big flaw is that they expand so quickly that you run out of people (suckers) on the planet. The real tipoff should be that if these things worked then everyone on the planet would do them and we'd all be multimillionaires without working at all. So, if nobody has to work, where do all of our goods and services come from?
