Hmmm, perhaps it is worth testing by experiment that when the B(t=0) > 0, there is a quantum tunneling to a remote location, such as the server room or (for very large values of B(t=0)) to the customer's server room.

This explains what happens when a group of programmers goes into a meeting. Each has a bogus agenda to push, and almost as soon as they start somebody pokes his head saying the server has a problem.

This begs the question, but why to the server room? Methinks the explanation will something like the tramways described in "The Mote in God's Eye", which produce immutable defined paths for faster-than-light travel.
