I think this newsgroup has become for the discussion of the design of DBMSs.
Initially, it was for database design issues as well, but I think that topic is diverging from the theory of databases.
DBMS theory, DBMS product selection, database design, and database management are all indeed intimately intertwined. But I think that dealing with all of them in one newsgroup causes more confusion than synergy. Received on Sun Oct 03 2004 - 17:06:30 CDT
