I don't have a definition at hand. Any takers?
The reason I (propose to) include [address] was to get a clear wedge between pointer (high misunderstanding frequency, not only in this newsgroup) and reference.
An 'address' is strongly associated with implementation, so it may be somewhat easier to see that it is something you'ld (in general) *not* want to have in a logical model.
