One should define things according to reality otherwise one can get results that are correct within the system but meaningless or incorrect in reference to reality. For example, Newtonian will provide answers that they don't match reality under some conditions. Same thing occurs with RDM when working with NULLs or masks for those NULLs (ie NA).
