        Sorry if it sounded like a diatribe, it wasn't intended to be.

        I don't know if there is such a group as c.d.design; I said it only to make the point that this is meant to be a theory, not design group.

        Design needs full information about organisational rules, that aren't conveyable in a newsgroup. Also it simply isn't theory, unless you are wondering what can be the theoretical consequences of a specific situation.
