Hi,
I'm designing a datamart and I'm facing the following problem. I guess is quite common but I want to have your opinion.
I have a fact table (commercial orders table) and a country/state dimension. I want to link these two tables in a datamart but my context is : an order can have two country, one for the original order place and another - often different - for the destination of the order.
Should I make two country/state dimension (identical), one for order place and one for destination ? Should I make two links in order to link the same table with two foreing keys in the fact table ? What, as to you, are the pros and cons ?

Thank you for your help.
Vince
