questions about OODBMS

hi,

I have two questions about OODBMS:

• Why can OODBMS sometimes encouter problems with encapsulation, and how does this reflect on the performance of a DBMS?
• Some queries like 'Find all employees who work on the finance department' can be successfully executed with OODBMS, but queries like 'Find all departments who have bookkeepers' cannot be executed with OODBMS. Can anyone give a reason why?
