Humm, I don't quite see the humour. Unless, that is, that you have read my postings as saying that it is impossible to build an applications that does enforce time sensitive business rules in SQL DBMS systems? Of course it is possible, but it's nothing like as easy, and you *have* to have an application in the way between the users and the database. The database cannot guarantee to enforce the rules itself.
