Naming Conventions

Trying to find a naming convention to adopt for my database.  Ive heard of
ppl prefixing tables with tbl, views with vei, ...etc  But then others say
you dont need this.  Has anybody got some good ideas for naming:



Tables


Views


Stored Procedures


Linking tables


History Tables


etc.
